Shehla Khan at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013

Karishma Kapoor, who was the showstopper for designer Shehla Khan’s ‘Boudoir’ line at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) summer-resort 2013, looked elegant in a Chantilly lace creation with chiffon panels and gunmetal lace embroidery. 

The collection was very feminine and was against a backdrop of red balloons, which made the show even more appealing. The garments had a generous use of sheer and lace, giving them a rich as well as provocative look. 

The collection included blingy sequinned dresses and long gowns in shades of cream, silver and pink.

Anushree Redy at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013

Anushree Reddy showcased her collection at the Talent Box for her Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 collection. 

The collection consisted of traditional Indian embroidery such as Hyderabadi zardozi, gotta and chikankari. There were lehengas, saris and anarkalis along with cocktail wear in beautiful shades of cream, pinks, corals and yellows. 

Collection was graceful and reminded us of fairy tales….princesses and balls etc.

Naeem Khan at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013

Showcasing a spectacular collection that left the audience highly impressed, international designer Naeem Khan made his debut in India Saturday through Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort. The designer was ecstatic about being in India. 

The collection included dresses with detailing on neck and sleeves, long gowns, smart pants and skirts in colours like black, red and multi-coloured patterns. The highlight of the evening was the “ball gown sari” which he has specifically designed for the occasion and Indian audience.

Awesome color combination making up to the style and simplicity edge with plain white body and colorful bottom in orange and multi colors giving a nice flare around while the salwar/pajama is of Silk Fabric in voilet and gold.

Kajol showed up at the Lakme Fashion Week. She wore an exotic saree in amazingly beautiful colors. I must say Manish Malhotra has some really great skills for fashion the reason all the Bollywood Celebrities have a huge die hard love for his designs. This Creme Saree shows all the elegance that Manish has put together in its embroidery and color combination. The golden brown sequins and lace all over looks perfect.
